Siqi Yang 杨思琪
Hello! I'm Siqi Yang (pronounced /schee/, or you can call me Jacky>).
I am currently pursuing my MSCS in Computer Science at the
University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC),
where I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Yuxiong Wang.
My research focuses on Reinforcement Learning for developing agents that can interact naturally with humans, including both embodied agents and LLM-based agents.
I am also interested in how these agents build an understanding of the world through 3D vision and other perceptual modalities.
Before joining UIUC, I completed my B.Eng in Electronic Engineering at
Tsinghua University.
During my undergraduate studies, I gained valuable research experience working with
Prof. Huazhe Xu and Prof. Yu Wang.

[Paper]
We propose Latent Wasserstein Adversarial Imitation Learning, a novel adversarial imitation learning framework that focuses on state-only distribution matching by leveraging the Wasserstein distance computed in a latent space. Our approach includes a pre-training stage to capture the
underlying structure of the state space using randomly generated state-only data.
This enhances the policy's understanding of state transitions, enabling the learning process to use only one or a few state-only expert episodes to achieve expert-level performance.

We present RiEMann, an end-to-end near Real-time SE(3)-Equivariant Robot Manipulation imitation learning framework from scene point cloud input. RiEMann directly predicts the target poses of objects for manipulation without any object segmentation. RiEMann learns a manipulation task from scratch with 5 to 10 demonstrations, generalizes to unseen SE(3) transformations and instances of target objects, resists visual interference of distracting objects, and follows the near real-time pose change of the target object.
