Siqi Yang

University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

Hello! I’m Siqi Yang (pronounced /schee/, 杨思琪 in Chinese). I am currently pursuing my MSCS at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), where I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Yuxiong Wang.

My research focuses on Reinforcement Learning for developing agents that can interact naturally with humans, including both embodied agents and LLM-based agents. I am also interested in how these agents build an understanding of the world through 3D vision and other perceptual modalities.

Before joining UIUC, I completed my B.Eng in Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University. During my undergraduate studies, I gained valuable research experience working with Prof. Huazhe Xu and Prof. Yu Wang.
